God, our Creator, has given severe warning to the rich and influential to desist from robbing the poor and oppressing the afflicted and downtrodden. The plight of man is to exploit the weak, poor and ignorant folks around him and reduce them to puppets, serving only his interest. The strong and mighty in almost all human societies have often violated the rights and reduced the privileges of those who cannot challenge them. The result of this unjust treatment is attendant upheavals such as strife, agitations, protests, conflicts and wars which have become common occurrences around the globe today. Social injustice is the root cause of many catastrophes known in human history. Its spiritual effect is more devastating in time and eternity for those who delight in the oppression of the poor and the lowly members of the society. YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE TO BE SAVED

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJV) The only person Jesus cannot help is the person who refuses to believe. That is the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. The blasphemy of unbelief. The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit can neither be forgiven in this world nor in the world to come because Jesus says I am your saviour and you say you don’t believe in Him. What do you want Him to do? Save you by force? You have to believe to be saved. The blank cheque has been given. The whole world is technically saved but the reality is that it is for those who have believed. “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23 KJV). WHO IS YOUR FRIEND??

There is a popular adage that says “show me your friend and I will tell you who you are.” This saying is very true. No matter how spiritual you are, 1 Corinthians 15:33 says that  “Evil communication corrupt good manners.”   There are certain friends who would pull you back and there are others who would help you grow spiritually and in other areas of life. Choose your friends wisely. Before I became born again, I had friends with whom I regularly drank alcoholic wines. Then, I met Christ and my lifestyle changed. When my friends visited, I served them non-alcoholic drinks, and before long, they realized that things were different, and withdrew from me. It was painful to lose my friends then, but I let them go because I didn’t want them to drag me back to the world. Today, God has replaced those friends with a lot of brothers and sisters all over the world. I have made new friends who helped me in my walk with God. It is this kind of friends that you should have too

CORONA VIRUS: A DIVINE SIGNAL

Please read through to the end Something happen that i need to share which definitely will do us favour In my church yesterday, we did not hold Sunday service following the directive from our General Overseer, and my parish being a zonal headquarter (we have above 450 members) I was standing with my Pastor in front of the church, directing our members to various house fellowship centers when suddenly a Toyota hillux parked and men of the security operatives jumped down and walked to us challenging us that are we holding service. No we are not, but standing here to control our members back to various house fellowship centers, replied my pastor, they nods to affirm that they can see that. We are law abiding citizens that can not go against Government of the land; my pastor said further On my own, as i was standing beside my pastor, facing these RRS policemen, i was seeing something entirely different. PEACE IN THE MIDST OF TROUBLE

The life of our Lord Jesus Christ on earth shows us that we can have peace amidst the storms of life. While travelling in a boat with His disciples, having just finished a long session of preaching and counselling for only God knows how many hours, there arose a great storm bellowing against the boat in which they were. The disciples were so afraid that they would die at sea, because it seemed as if their boat would capsize.  Meanwhile, Jesus Christ was fast asleep in the inner chamber of the boat. It is amazing that He could sleep even in the midst of a storm! The disciples woke Him up. Accusing Him of being unmindful of their predicament. Jesus was surprised that His disciples could ever imagine that the boat carrying the Author of life would capsize! Howbeit, He arose and rebuked the wind behind the raging storm, and there was a great calm. PROSPERITY BUILT ON WICKEDNESS

Today, the Holy Spirit is asking you if your prosperity is built on wickedness.It is dangerous to prosper through wickedness. One of my church members was delivered from being hooked by evil prosperity when he was offered a huge amount of money to defraud his organization. He refused to be part of the deal because he knew the spiritual implication of being unequally yoked with the wicked  (2 Corinthians 6:14-18) . The love of wealth makes a lot of people ignore God’s counsel, with devastating consequences. Such wealth will eventually grow wings and fly away.  Proverbs 13:22  says that a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous. In other words, if you manage to gather wealth by stealing, lying or other acts of wickedness, the Lord is saying that He will take that wealth from you and give it to the righteous.
