WHERE DOES HELP COME FROM?


In this world, we are often faced with difficulties and challenges that make it necessary for us to look for way out. Individuals look helter skelter for help even where there is no help. Those who promised to help later lands the person requesting help in bigger trouble.

Let me tell you a short story of a man faced with financial problem and looking around for possible solution. Those who promised to help him failed, citing one excuse or another. Later, he meets someone who recommended a money ritual as the solution. They even informed him that the ritual did not involve killing human beings. He agreed and they proceeded to start the ritual exercise. 

After the exercise, he became rich. The ritualist informed him 2 months after that the gods need sacrifices and he must provide any of his loved ones to be renewing the money ritual every 5 years while he must provide the first sacrifice urgently. The man argued that he was not informed of all this before he started the ritual. The ritualist responded that he is not permitted by the gods to inform him earlier and if he refuses to cooperate he will run mad and die within 3 Days. The man reluctantly sacrifice his wife for the first sacrifice and subsequently sacrifice his 3 children in a period of twenty years.

At the end of the day, there is no wife, no children to stay with him again and he eventually run mad and died because there is nothing remaining to sacrifice again.The bible says,”I look up into the hills,where does my help come from, my help comes from God who makes the heaven and the earth”. Focus on the Lord Jesus Christ alone and he will help you. The bible also says, “help does not come from abroad, but from above”.Accept Jesus Christ into your life today for you to gain access to his help. 

To accept Jesus Christ into your life, say after me,"Lord Jesus, i accept you today as my Father, Lord and saviour. Forgive me all my sins and transgressions and write my name in the book of life. Thank you for answering my prayers, in Jesus mighty name,i pray,amen." Begin to speak to Jesus right where you are and he is right there hearing you.You can even ask him for signs to show that he hears you and he will show them to you.

WHERE DO YOU STAND?

No Servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despised the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon.---- Luke 16:15 Presently the world is full of hypocrisy and self deception. There are lots of people two-timing between God and the devil. The Lord Jesus Christ made it clear in the book of Revelation that those who are not hot/cold will he spit out of his mouth.  You need to answer this question, “Where do I stand”? You can never be on a neutral ground. It’s either you are on the Lord’s side or on the Devil’s side. Meanwhile, it is impossible to be on both sides. YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE TO BE SAVED
