CONTENTMENT IS A GREAT GAIN



Let your conversation be without covetousness, and be contented with such things as ye have; for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee---Hebrew 13:5

The problem most people are facing in today’s world is due to lack of contentment. The fear of the Lord breeds contentment, because the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Lack of contentment can make a man involve in various criminal vices like: Ritual Killing, Corruption, Fraud, Prostitution, Gambling e.t.c.  When a man is not satisfied with what God has provided him he begins to seek other alternatives from the devil. While the devil is ready to give him what he wants and snatch from him very precious things God has already given him.

The primary source of lack of contentment is covetousness. When a man is using other people’s life has a benchmark to judge is own progress, he will start to covet what others have, not knowing how they got to the exalted position or procure the material things they possess. Infact, some are even coveting other’s wife/husband/children. This is completely wrong!No matter what you need God to do for you, do not covet what others have. Do not take a strange/fraudulent step to acquire whatever you want. In our bible text, the Lord clearly says that he will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Why not rest on him? Why not commit your worries to him? He is more than able to take care of it.

You need to accept the Lord Jesus Christ into your life today and all will be fine. If you are ready to accept the Lord Jesus into your life, please bow down your head wherever you are now and repeat after me,” Lord Jesus, I have come to the realization of my sins, please cleanse me with your blood on the cross of Calvary, wash me and I shall be made whole. Thank you Jesus, in Jesus mighty name, I pray, Amen”.

As you have made this declaration from deep within your heart, you shall experience the hand of God You can download a softcopy of the bible on your app store or visit any Christian Bookshop around you to get a hard copy. Find any Redeem Christian Church of God Church or any other bible believing Church close to you. Remember, read your bible daily and only follow an instruction that is in your bible, the word of God.

WHERE DO YOU STAND?

You cannot serve God and Mammon.---- Luke 16:15 Presently the world is full of hypocrisy and self deception. There are lots of people two-timing between God and the devil. The Lord Jesus Christ made it clear in the book of Revelation that those who are not hot/cold will he spit out of his mouth.  You need to answer this question, “Where do I stand”? You can never be on a neutral ground. It’s either you are on the Lord’s side or on the Devil’s side. Meanwhile, it is impossible to be on both sides. YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE TO BE SAVED
