THE POISONED HEART



This particular statement was formed out of Act 14: 1 – 2, which reads “1. And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews,and so spake, that a great multitude, both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed. (KJV)
For the verse two, let us read the RSV Version: “But the unbelieving Jews, stirred up the Gentiles ad poisoned their minds against the brethren”

My dear Reader, almost every day you have been hearing the word of God from different channels like: Social Media, TV, Radio, Newspapers, Bulletin, Church, Text Messages, Neighbors, Friends and even the man/woman who usually preach very early in the morning in your street. Some of the times you heard this word of God, you are probably convinced and realized that you are a sinner and you need to come to the throne of grace to seek mercy from the Lord and accept the Lord Jesus into your life. As you are ruminating over this, a friend, relative or other satanic messengers would come to you and poison your mind, saying words like: “Do not answer them; they alleged that you should accept Jesus into your life and he is coming soon to pick the saint. Why has that Jesus not come since 2000 years ago”. These particular statements and other statements that are discouraging you from accepting the Lord Jesus Christ are statements formulated from the pit of hell.

In fact, the person telling you all this may know the bible like the back of his hand. This does not indicate that he is a messenger of God. He is a messenger of the devil disguised as agent of light. You have to purge yourself of all this poison and accept the fact that eternity is not negotiable. Heaven is Real and so also Hell is real. You will not have a second chance to repent after death. Because there is no neutral ground after death. It is either you end up in Heaven or in Hell. Religion cannot help you make it to heaven; good morals alone cannot help you to the kingdom of God. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and Life. No man can come to the father except through Jesus. Philosophy can never take you to heaven neither science can do it. The earlier you accept the truth, the better for you. Death can come knocking anytime, but if it comes, where will you land? Get rid of all the poisons in your heart stopping you from welcoming the Lord Jesus Christ and accept him today. 

What are you waiting for? If you are ready, let us pray together. Say after me “Father, Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you for your word that I read today, I am ready to accept you into my heart finally, please accept me and help me to follow you. Give me the holy spirit and do not ever cast me away from your presence. Thank you Jesus. In Jesus mighty name, I pray”.Amen


As you have made this declaration from deep within your heart, you shall experience the hand of God. You can download a softcopy of the bible on your app store or visit any Christian Bookshop around you to get a hard copy. Find any Redeem Christian Church of God Church or any other bible believing Church close to you. Remember, read your bible daily and only follow an instruction that is in your bible, the word of God.

WHERE DO YOU STAND?

You cannot serve God and Mammon.---- Luke 16:15 Presently the world is full of hypocrisy and self deception. There are lots of people two-timing between God and the devil. The Lord Jesus Christ made it clear in the book of Revelation that those who are not hot/cold will he spit out of his mouth.  You need to answer this question, “Where do I stand”? You can never be on a neutral ground. It’s either you are on the Lord’s side or on the Devil’s side. Meanwhile, it is impossible to be on both sides. YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE TO BE SAVED

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJV) The only person Jesus cannot help is the person who refuses to believe.
