LIVING A VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN LIFE

In the modern era of civilization, it has become a big challenge for Christians to live a life worthy of their calling, which is a Christ-like life. Christians are first called Christian in Antioch because they are living a Christ like life. Christianity is not a religion but a way of life we should be living daily in order to achieve the kingdom of God. We should concentrate on how to tailor our life to be like Jesus for us not to be carried away by spiritual distractions.To live a victorious Christian life,we have to learn from what the Lord Jesus passed through when he was tempted by the devil in the book of Matthew 4:1-11. We can note the following vices that Jesus was tempted with by the devil. Meanwhile, the devil is still using this vices today to tempt and attack believers. Let us look into the various strategies the devil used to tempt the Lord Jesus in the book of Matthew 4:1-11.

a.Pride and Abuse of Authority: He was trying to arouse the Ego in Jesus by telling him to use his power to change stone to bread. The Lord Jesus does not take any step if his heavenly father does not approve it. He definitely wants the Lord Jesus to go against the will of God for his life by acting unapproved with the power released to him by God the Father.
b.Love of Food:Jesus Christ has been fasting for 40 Days and Night, while the devil suddenly wants him to change Stone to Bread. He is indirectly calling Jesus to an act of indiscipline. Anyone who loves food uncontrollably can be easily attacked by the devil. This is called Gluttony.
c.The Act of Tempting of God: This simply means when someone is doing things God did not request him to do, and the person is expecting God to come to his rescue, this amount to tempting God which is a sin before him.
d.Love of Material Wealth and Idolatory: Satan also showed Jesus the kingdom of the world and he asked him to bow to him once in order to have all the kingdom of the world to himself. You can say, oh! I don’t have any idols I am worshipping, but do you know that anything you exalt above God is an idol. Makeup’s, Jewelries, Cars, husband, wife, children and other Material things you have acquired. Some can kill fellow human beign in order to acquire material things which can perish anytime.This is a dangerous act that can lead a person to everlasting suffering in hell fire.
Please, if you are experiencing this, accept Jesus Christ into your life today. Have you fallen into the hands of the devil? vhave you failed any of the test the devil has used to tempt you? You can still etrace your steps back to the almighty God. The bible says “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me”. Confess all your sins to him today, rededicate your life to him and expect a very big transformation in your spiritual life and other aspects f your life. You are next in line for testimonies in Jesus name. All problems you are facing is solved right now and you are coming out victorious in Jesus name. Amen.

If you are ready to welcome the Lord Jesus Christ into your life today, please bow down your head wherever you are now and repeat after me,” Lord Jesus, I have come to the realization of my sins, please cleanse me with your blood on the cross of Calvary, wash me and I shall be made whole. I opened the door of my heart for you today, be my master, father, king and savior. Thank you Jesus, in Jesus mighty name, I pray, Amen”.

As you have made this declaration from deep within your heart, you shall experience the hand of God. Find any Redeem Christian Church of God Church or any other bible believing Church close to you. Remember, read your bible daily and only follow an instruction that is in your bible, the word of God.

WHERE DO YOU STAND?

The Lord Jesus Christ made it clear in the book of Revelation that those who are not hot/cold will he spit out of his mouth.  You need to answer this question, “Where do I stand”?
